About the Role:

As an Outside Sales Rep with That 1 Painter, you’ll play a pivotal role as the face of the company for your clients. You’ll take ownership of every lead, project, and customer interaction, all while driving revenue and maintaining the high standards we’re known for. This is more than just a sales role—it’s a leadership opportunity, where you’ll have the autonomy to make your mark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and sell both residential and commercial painting projects.
  • Upsell additional services to maximize value for our clients.
  • Attend home shows, commercial trade events, and other community events and advertising opportunities as the primary representative of That 1 Painter.
  • Generate leads through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging professional contacts with realtors, property managers, and more.
  • Actively seek out and engage with potential clients through field sales visits and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain a detailed pipeline of prospects and track business development activities in CRM.
  • Pass off jobs professionally to project managers once the project is sold.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proven ability and hunger to drive sales.
  • Independence and initiative—you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to travel daily within your territory.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both in person and on paper.
  • At least 2 years of B2B or B2C sales and estimating experience.
  • In-home sales experience (preferred).
  • Experience generating leads via strategic relationships.
  • Established local network (preferred).
  • Paint experience (preferred).
  • Polished and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional, ‘over-the-top’ customer service experience.

Compensation & Perks:

  • $80,000 - $110,000 
  • Company vehicle provided
