Glazier

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Glazier to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the precise and professional installation of shower enclosures, mirrors, railings, and other custom glass features in both residential and commercial spaces. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll ensure high-quality craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and on-site professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Field Work

• Install glass shower doors, enclosures, mirrors, railings, and other custom glass solutions on-site.
   
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and installation instructions.
   
• Mount and secure metal framework and related hardware for each job.
   
• Ensure each installation meets company and industry standards for quality, safety, and precision.
• Comfortable working on ladders when needed.

Customer Service & Communication

• Represent the company with professionalism and respect while on-site at customer locations.
   
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding installation timelines, care instructions, and product usage.
   
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and ensure client satisfaction upon project completion.
   

Operations & Documentation

• Maintain truck stock inventory and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure necessary tools and materials are on hand.
   
• Track and document task-related activities, productivity, and completion in a timely manner.
   
• Participate in safety briefings and follow all company and site-specific safety protocols.
   

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
   
• 5+ years of experience in glass installation or a related construction trade.
   
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
   
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, drawings, and installation instructions.
   
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing, etc.).
• Glazier Contractor License

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of various types of glass and hardware components.
   
• Familiarity with national and local building codes related to glass installations.
   
• Experience in custom metal framework or construction-related trades.
   
• Vocational/technical degree or certifications related to construction or glazing.
• Experience ordering glass and hardware, with established relationships with distributors in the glass trade.

Compensation & Perks:

• Annual Salary: $70,000-$90,000 (eligible for profit-sharing bonuses)
